The material is a high quality PET plastic made in Italy, the manufacturing process is 3D printing. The finish is smooth with a satin black color. The 1/4 screw mount it is metal for a better and more durable use on the tripod. Ir is compatible with any tripod plate. 

The tripod adapter is a press fit lock that is mounted directly on the front of the SX-70 camera. Check the video below to see more details. The material is strong but flexible, making it durable and easy to use.
